About the 301st Rescue Squadron
301st Combat Search and Rescue Squadron flies the fully armed HH-60W which is capable of aerial refueling from C-130 aircraft.
Our helicopter aircrews integrate with Pararescue Jumpers and C-130s as part of the "Guardian Angel" package dedicated to recover isolated personnel behind enemy lines.
The squadron is located at Patrick Space Force Base in Cocoa Beach, FL.
Pilot selection is highly competitive and takes place 1-2 times per year in the Fall/Spring.

301st RQS is only accepting applications through MilRecruiter.com
Successful applicants will be invited for an informal BBQ on a UTA weekend, followed by an in person interview the next day.
Squadron visits, "rushing", or informal stopping by the squadron are not permitted outside of the BBQ (invitation only) and interview weekend.

November 4th 202x BBQ at 301st RQS for selected candidates

Spring 202x: Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) Applicants only
*UPT applicants selected for Fall or Spring interview will be required to complete an AF Fitness Test immediately following their interview
