Job Description

305th Combat Search and Rescue Squadron flies the fully armed HH-60W which is capable of aerial refueling from C-130 aircraft. 

Our helicopter aircrews integrate with Pararescue Jumpers and C-130s as part of the "Guardian Angel" package dedicated to recover isolated personnel behind enemy lines. 

The squadron is located at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ.

Pilot selection is highly competitive, and takes place 1-2 times per year in the Fall/Spring.

 

If submitting a UPT Pilot package, the following documents must be included:

  1. Cover letter discussing your desire to be a CSAR pilot
  2. 3 x Letters of Recommendation
  3. AFOQT, TBAS, and PCSM scores
  4. Resume including Date of Birth
  5. USAF Physical Fitness data (only for prior service)
  6. Recent 3 EPRs/OPRs (only for prior service)
  7. Civilian pilot certificate/last page of flying logbook (if applicable)
  8. USAF Flying Class 1 certified physical examination (if applicable)
  9. University Transcripts

Combine in 1 PDF file and submit. Age Waivers/ETPs will not be considered.
