The 122nd Fighter Squadron, more commonly known as the Bayou Militia, is searching for potential / current fighter pilots to join our rich heritage of Eagle Drivers! As an Air National Guard unit located in New Orleans, LA, we offer a multitude of activities outside of flying the World's Greatest Air Superiority Fighter. Fishing, hunting, boating, NBA and NFL games (Who Dat), Mardi Gras, live music, crawfish boils, and nightly trips to the French Quarter are all just a few of the world-class activities at your disposal here in southern Louisiana. You should expect to work Tuesday - Friday, plus one weekend per month for drill, as well as sitting alert periodically throughout the month. During work days, you will be tasked with flying the F-15C/EX Eagle (II) in / around the Gulf of America, pushing it to the limits in the air-to-air realm, per our current mission, which includes BFM, conducting tactical intercepts, and defensive / offensive counter air missions. Additionally, you should expect an occasional TDY, cross country sortie, and / or deployment. 

Disclaimer: While our current mission is "No pound for air-to-ground", there exists a possibility that this shifts in future years with a pivot to the F-15 EX.
